THE OUTPOST

Developed for Assicurazioni Allianz, The Outpost is a card game inspired by Reigns and based on balancing resources and making difficult choices.
The protagonist is a young shop assistant working in a very peculiar emporium, in the Wild West.

I led the creative conceptualisation and narrative design for the game The Outpost published by Hyperaktive Studio – Philmark Games and developed for the insurance company Allianz. 
I came up with the concepts and design of all the 30+ characters, their storylines and subplots. I wrote hundreds of dialogues with multiple choices, outcomes and endings, designed interactions and provided the developers with a value system describing each encounter and its consequences (positive, negative and neutral). 


One primary focus of my creative work was to tune and test the game design both with my team and alone. I also contributed to setting a pipeline of work and periodically checking the progress of the project with every member of the team.
